What is the ZPPA e-GP System?
ZPPA runs an electronic tendering system on their website for registered suppliers and contractors to bid for available Government tenders. The electronic tendering system is called the e-GP System. Who qualifies to register as a supplier or contractor with ZPPA?
Any legally registered business (that is business names, private limited companies and public limited companies) that intends to do business with Government ministries, institutions and parastatals as a supplier of goods and services. However, as a business, you must ensure that your business name or company is fully compliant in terms of paying all PACRA (annual returns) and ZRA (tax return) obligations at the time of your application for registration as a supplier.
What are the requirements for registering as a supplier on the e-GP System?
The requirements for any business to register as a supplier on the e-GP system are; PACRA business registration number and ZRA TPIN for the company or for the individual business owner in case of business names.
How do I register my business with ZPPA?
Supplier registration with ZPPA is done online only on the ZPPA website. Registration fee must be paid before supplier registration is confirmed or approved. Payment can be made online using Visa Debit cards or physically by walking into a Zanaco bank or Zanaco Xpress banking agent booth. Deposits are made using the Zanaco Bill Master form. How long does it take for the ZPPA supplier registration application to be approved?
The application approval takes a maximum of 5 working days and a minimum of 24 hours.
How do I access my ZPPA supplier registration certificate?
The ZPPA registration certificate will be made available in your user dashboard in the e-GP System. To access it, login to your e-GP System user account, download and print your ZPPA supplier registration certificate.
